Brookings-Harbor's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 49-48 victory over the Rogue River Chieftains. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Chieftains recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Brookings-Harbor's victory bumped their record up to 4-16. As for Rogue River, they dropped their record down to 1-17 with the loss, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brookings-Harbor will welcome Lakeview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rogue River, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
