Soccer Game Preview: Fort Vancouver vs. Stevenson

The Fort Vancouver Trappers will head out on the road to take on the Stevenson Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Fort Vancouver is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against King's Way Christian on Thursday. The Trappers fell 2-0 to the Knights. While losing is never fun, Fort Vancouver can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 148th, while King's Way Christian are ranked 29th).

Meanwhile, Stevenson fell victim to King's Way Christian and their airtight defense on Saturday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 8-0. Stevenson haven't had much luck with King's Way Christian recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Fort Vancouver's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Stevenson, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1.
