Soccer Recap: Orosi Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Granite Hills, Orosi was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They never let the Orange Cove Titans onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Titans, too.

Julian Lara and Johan Martinez Ruiz scored both of Orosi's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Orosi's win bumped their record up to 3-10-3. As for Orange Cove, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orosi will square off against Farmersville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Orange Cove, they will take on Wonderful College Prep Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Orange Cove is facing Wonderful College Prep Academy at the right time seeing as Wonderful College Prep Academy is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
