After flying high against Penelope on Tuesday, Gholson came back down to earth. Gholson took a blow against the Covington Owls on Friday, falling 55-18. The matchup marked Gholson's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Gholson has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Covington, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.
