Conrad dropped down to 7-5 on Saturday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 15-0 to the Shepherd Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 back in April.

For Shepherd's part, Krista Dunn made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Conrad has already played their next matchup, a 12-2 victory against Thompson Falls on the 15th. As for Shepherd, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 22-11 win against Hardin on the 11th.
