Basketball Game Preview: Burke Bulldogs vs. Pennsbury Falcons

The Burke Bulldogs and the Pennsbury Falcons will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Burke is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 72.5 points per game this season.

Last Saturday, it was close, but Burke ultimately received the gift of an 80-77 victory from a begrudging Bulldogs squad. The win made it back-to-back victories for they.

Burke found their leader in sophomore Juel Mack, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and ten rebounds. Mack is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Melachi Singleton, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 14 points and seven assists.

Burke was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January.

Meanwhile, Pennsbury might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting North Penn an easy 68-44 win.

Pennsbury now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Burke, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
