After a string of seven wins, O'Fallon's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Columbia Eagles by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Kennedi Walls paced O'Fallon's offense, picking up seven kills. Walls got some help from Taylor Clay and her 13 assists.

O'Fallon's loss dropped their record down to 20-12. As for Columbia, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 29-1.

O'Fallon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Rochester on the 18th. As for Columbia, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Montini Catholic on the 18th.
