Soccer Recap: Bowie Wins Going Away Against Steele

Bowie kept a clean sheet against Steele on Friday. They put the hurt on the Steele Knights with a sharp 4-0 victory. That four goal margin sets a new team best for the Bulldogs this season.

They hit Steele with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Joshua Lewis (2), Django Van Brunt, and Garrett Herb.

The win (which was Bowie's third in a row) raised their record to 4-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three games. As for Steele, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Bowie didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Marble Falls on the 22nd. As for Steele, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Clemens at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th.
