Basketball Recap: Reagan Now 9-2 over Last 11 Games

Reagan's game on Tuesday was all tied up 22-22 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They enjoyed a cozy 53-38 victory over the Madison Mavericks. That's more bragging rights for the Rattlers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Reagan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chase Hill, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards. The dominant performance also gave Hill a new career-high in blocks (three). Christian Kelley was another key player, putting up ten points.

Madison lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Josiah Fite-Brown, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 10 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jordan Clay, who posted eight points and five rebounds.

Reagan has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Madison, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.

Reagan will be playing in front of their home fans against Johnson at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Reagan is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games. As for Madison, they will venture away from home to take on Clark at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Clark has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 174 points over their last three contests.
