Softball Recap: Marsh Valley Eagles vs. Bear Lake Bears

While it was Marsh Valley who put the first runs on the board on Wednesday, it was Bear Lake who put up more. The Eagles fell just short of the Bears by a score of 10-9. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Lydia Howell put in work no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over 6.1 innings while giving up four earned (and six unearned) runs off nine hits. Those hits were her first of the season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
