Recap: Lanesville Eagles vs. Vincennes Rivet Patriots
The Lanesville Eagles put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Vincennes Rivet with a sharp 48-27 victory. The result was nothing new for Lanesville, who have now won seven matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.
Ava Kerr was her usual excellent self, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds and five assists. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellie Schneider, who scored seven points.
Lanesville's win bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Vincennes Rivet, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
Lanesville is on the road again on Friday and play against Evansville Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on December 29th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Evansville Memorial is ranked 34th, while Lanesville is ranked 25th). As for Vincennes Rivet, they will head out on the road to face off against Linton-Stockton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
