Mitchell is 9-1 against Crawford County since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bluejackets will host the Wolfpack at 5:00 p.m. Mitchell will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

If Mitchell beats Crawford County with 25 runs on Wednesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Bluejackets beat Eastern Greene on Tuesday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 25-2. The result was nothing new for the Bluejackets, who have now won three matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Crawford County's offense. They lost 10-0 to Corydon Central on Monday. The Wolfpack haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

The win got Mitchell back to even at 5-5. As for Crawford County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Mitchell was able to grind out a solid victory over Crawford County in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, winning 10-6. Do the Bluejackets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolfpack turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
