Soccer Recap: Lancaster Mennonite Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against West Shore Christian Academy

There's no place like home for Lancaster Mennonite, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over West Shore Christian Academy on Wednesday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Lancaster Mennonite's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 119th, while West Shore Christian Academy are ranked 255th).

Lancaster Mennonite's one-goal win came courtesy of Reuben Gingrich, who's now up to 11 this season.

Lancaster Mennonite has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4-2 record this season. As for West Shore Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-4-2.

Lancaster Mennonite didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against York Catholic on the 25th. West Shore Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
