Perry is 7-1 against Cory-Rawson since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Commodores will venture away from home to take on the Fighting Hornets at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses dating back to last season for Perry and five for Cory-Rawson.

North Baltimore hit Perry with a four-run second inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Commodores came up short against the Tigers, falling 11-1.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Cory-Rawson's offense. They lost 10-0 to Waynesfield-Goshen on Monday. That's two games in a row now that the Fighting Hornets have lost by exactly ten runs.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Cory-Rawson, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Everything went Perry's way against Cory-Rawson when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Perry made off with a 17-4 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Commodores since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
