Volleyball Recap: Cleveland Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Cleveland Cavaliers didn't have quite enough to beat the Calabasas Coyotes and fell 3-2.

Cleveland took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 21-25, 22-25, 25-14, 15-3.

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Calabasas, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Cleveland will face off against Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cleveland is facing Varsity Opponent at the right time seeing as Varsity Opponent is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Calabasas, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Camarillo at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
