Recap: Torrington Christian Academy vs. American School for the Deaf Tigers
Torrington Christian Academy's's game on Thursday was all tied up 19-19 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of American School for the Deaf by a score of 43-41. Torrington Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as American School for the Deaf apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
It was another big night for Jordan G, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 11 rebounds for American School for the Deaf. The game was G's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Winkester M was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five steals.
Torrington Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for American School for the Deaf, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.
Torrington Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. American School for the Deaf will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lexington School for the Deaf at 5:15 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
