Volleyball Recap: George Jenkins Find Success

George Jenkins's tournament run continued when they took on Matanzas on Friday. The Eagles came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

George Jenkins easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-12.

Rhianna Burns paced George Jenkins' offense, picking up ten kills. Burns got some help from Aubrey Bailey and her 14 assists.

George Jenkins' victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Matanzas, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

Coincidentally, George Jenkins and Matanzas will both be playing Nease the next time they take the court. The Pirates will head out to face the Panthers at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
