Football Recap: Ralls Comes Up Short

Ralls fell victim to Memphis and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost to the Cyclones on the road by a 19-0 margin. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jackrabbits of the 19-14 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Adrian Flores was a one-man wrecking crew For Memphis. as he rushed for 146 yards and one score. Those 146 rushing yards gave Flores a new career-high. Slyvester Castillo was in the mix too, providing Memphis with one touchdown.

Ralls now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Memphis, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Ralls will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Seagraves at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Memphis, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-18 defeat against Highland Park on the 19th.
