Tareavion Mageo Has Career Rushing Day

Starting off the list is White Oak's Tareavion Mageo, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Mageo rushed for 292 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.

The win (which was White Oak's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Mageo and White Oak will welcome Dixon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Gulat Posts Huge Game in 37-15 Win

JJ Gulat helped snap Dixon's three-game losing streak. Gulat did his part (and then some), rushing for 201 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry for the 'W'. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 103 rushing yards.

For the season, Gulat has averaged 16.1 passing yards per game.

Tanner Payne Delivers Electric Effort Vs White Oak

West Carteret had to settle for second on Friday, but Tanner Payne sure wasn't going down easily. Payne turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 403 yards and five touchdowns.

For the season, Payne has thrown 24 touchdowns while averaging 279.3 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 27.69 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 92.01 passer rating.

Richlands Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Caleb Simco

Richlands picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Caleb Simco. Croatan had no answer to Simco as he rushed for 230 yards on only nine carries, and also threw for 117 yards on eight of 15 attempts. The dominant performance gave Simco a new career-high in rushing yards.

Richlands' win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Simco and Richlands will head out on the road to take on West Carteret at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Semaj Thompson and Co. Win Seventh in a Row

Richlands picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Semaj Thompson. Thompson did his part (and then some), picking up five sacks and making 11 total tackles for the 'W'.

For the season, Thompson has averaged 5.9 total tackles per game and for the season has 6.5 sacks. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had one sack.
