Softball Recap: Brooks Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Brooks can now relate to. They fell just short of the Hatton Hornets by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Brooks' defeat dropped their record down to 16-16. As for Hatton, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 19-24-2.

Brooks didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Deshler on the 29th. Hopefully Hatton paid attention to the Lions' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Lions on Tuesday.
