San Gabriel Academy entered their tilt with Paradise Adventist Academy on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Cougars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Shay Almodova, who had six aces. Kate Nembhard also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.
