TERRA Environmental piles up the points against South Miami

TERRA Environmental scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 60-33 victory over South Miami. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for TERRA Environmental considering their 21-point performance the match before.

TERRA Environmental was led to victory by Miani Pantaleon and Francesca Rodriguez. Pantaleon scored 14 points along with two steals, while Rodriguez scored 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rodriguez has scored all season. Audrey Vega was another key contributor, scoring four points along with three steals.

Arianna Perry and Anahi Laurencio certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Perry scored 15 points, while Laurencio scored 15 points. That was a full 45.5% of South Miami's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

TERRA Environmental has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season. As for South Miami, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

TERRA Environmental won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart at 5:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than TERRA Environmental in Florida (Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart is ranked 110th, while TERRA Environmental is ranked 364th). As for South Miami, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Homestead at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Homestead is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.
