Baseball Recap: Anacoco's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Anacoco entered their tilt with Fairview on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 6-3. That's two games straight that the Indians have won by exactly three runs.

Kyle Scott spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on three hits and racked up ten Ks. He is becoming a predictor of Anacoco's success: when he allows at most three earned runs the team is 2-1 (and 4-11 when he doesn't).

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Caleb Dixon, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two).

Anacoco's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Fairview, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-4.
