Drew is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Mays is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. Drew will host Mays at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Drew is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50 points per game this season.

Drew will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating North Clayton, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Drew sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-48 win over North Clayton last Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Drew has posted since January 24th.

Drew's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ricky Moon, who went 8-for-18 to rack up 21 points. Moon is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. John Fair was another key player, putting up four points in addition to ten rebounds and four steals.

Meanwhile, Mays was able to grind out a solid victory over Newton on Saturday, taking the game 70-60.

Mays' win came from a few key players Drew will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jack Sparks, who shot 58% from the field en route to 29 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Tiago Lee, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten boards.

Drew's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Mays, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Drew has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 26.5 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Mays struggles in that department as they've been averaging 39.3 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.

Drew came up short against Mays in their previous meeting back in January, falling 72-61. Can Drew avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
