Volleyball Recap: Royal Comes Up Short

Royal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Westlake Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Friday.

Royal's loss dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Westlake, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-7.

Royal will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Burbank at 11:35 a.m. Westlake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
