Soccer Recap: Lake Worth Gets the Win

While Lake Worth didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-13-3), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They had just enough and edged the Burkburnett Bulldogs out 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bullfrogs also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2019.

Lake Worth's victory bumped their record up to 6-1-1. As for Burkburnett, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which is still a better percentage than their 1-6-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Worth has already played their next contest (against Cooper), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Burkburnett will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Graham at 5:30 p.m. on February 7th.
