Volleyball Recap: Huntley Takes a Loss

Huntley lost against South Elgin back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Red Raiders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Storm. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Huntley was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-15.

Huntley's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for South Elgin, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Huntley will challenge Mundelein at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for South Elgin, they will face off against Glenbard North at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Storm are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
