Softball Recap: Klamath Union Pelicans vs. Hidden Valley Mustangs

Klamath Union had lost three straight at home, but on Saturday they dropped their record down to 2-6 to make it four. They came up short against the Hidden Valley Mustangs, falling 11-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 on Wednesday.

As for Hidden Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-2. Considering they have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

For Hidden Valley's part, they got a big performance out of Harley Hipps, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs. Another player making a difference was Sam Lesher, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Coming up, Klamath Union will take on Henley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hidden Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Brookings-Harbor at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
