Vicente Cortez Game Report: @ Enochs

Merced found a leader in Vicente Cortez as the team took down Enochs on Friday. Cortez was dialed in as he rushed for 63 yards and two TDs on only six carries, and also threw for 142 yards and one touchdown on only 11 passes. It looks like he has Enochs' number considering he had a big game the last time he faced them back in September of 2024. Cortez got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 53 yards.

Coming up, Cortez and Merced will host Golden Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears have been dominating at home and they will enter the game having won eight straight home games dating back to last season.
