Volleyball Recap: St. Francis' Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Blaine, St. Francis was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Maple Lake Irish 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Fighting Saints have posted since August 21st.

The victory snapped St. Francis' losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 5-7 record. As for Maple Lake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.

St. Francis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Ogilvie on the 4th. As for Maple Lake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Cloquet on the 4th.
