Preview: Baruch College vs. Clinton School
Baruch College will head out on the road to face off against Clinton School at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Baruch College gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener last Friday. They took down NEST+m 42-28.
Clinton School has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 20 points or more this season. They took their match at home on Saturday with ease, bagging a 54-23 win over Van Arsdale. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 29-3.
Among those leading the charge was Kate Stanley, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sofia Tokarczyk, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 13 rebounds.
Baruch College's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Clinton School, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
Baruch College took their victory against Clinton School when the teams last played back in January of 2022 by a conclusive 56-31. Will Baruch College repeat their success, or does Clinton School have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
