Basketball Recap: Lee Park Prep Comes Up Short

Lee Park Prep has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 51-44 to the Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy Patriots on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, with their most recent loss being a 48-32 defeat last Friday.

Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Anna Williams out in front who went 8-for-20 on her way to 19 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Leia Garrett, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine boards.

Lee Park Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-7.

As of now, neither Lee Park Prep nor Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
