Soccer Recap: Tarpon Springs Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Tarpon Springs and Gibbs pushed the score to 8-0 the last time they played Gibbs, but on Monday defenses reigned supreme. The Spongers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gladiators. Tarpon Springs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Gibbs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2019.

This is the second loss in a row for Tarpon Springs and nudges their season record down to 0-2-1. As for Gibbs, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tarpon Springs will take on East Lake at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gibbs, they will challenge Pinellas Park at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
