Volleyball Recap: Marion County Takes a Loss

Marion County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Henry Clay Blue Devils.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12, 25-9.

Henry Clay can attribute much of their success to Cooper Pugh, who had 13 digs and three assists.

Marion County now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Henry Clay, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marion County will head out to take on Casey County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Henry Clay, they will venture away from home to challenge Ryle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
