Volleyball Recap: St. Xavier's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Manhattan HomeSchool CHIEF, St. Xavier was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Veritas Christian Eagles. The win was some much needed relief for the Rams as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: St. Xavier took every set by at least 25 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

St. Xavier picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Veritas Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

St. Xavier will look to defend their home court on Monday against Newton (Home School) at 4:45 p.m. As for Veritas Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Heartland at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th.
