Basketball Game Preview: Leyden Eagles vs. Senn Bulldogs

The Leyden Eagles will challenge the Senn Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Leyden knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Senn likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Leyden came up short against Addison Trail and fell 81-73. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (58), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Senn was beaten by Jones 70-43 on Thursday.

Leyden has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-21 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points over those games. Senn's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.
