Northwestern won the last time they faced Somerset and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 27-14. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Mason Chell was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 100 yards and two scores on only 11 carries.

Northwestern's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Somerset, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Northwestern and Somerset will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Tigers are set to challenge their familiar foe Spooner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Somerset will square off against rival Amery at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
