Basketball Recap: Midwood Takes a Loss

Midwood lost against New Utrecht back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Midwood Hornets took a 47-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Utrecht Utes. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Midwood's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for New Utrecht, they moved to 2-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Midwood will head out to challenge Roosevelt on Saturday. Midwood is facing Roosevelt at the right time seeing as Roosevelt is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for New Utrecht, they will be home for the holidays to greet Grand Street Campus at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
