Volleyball Recap: Wellsville Takes a Loss

Wellsville lost against Columbiana back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers came up short against the Clippers, falling 3-0.

Wellsville was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-13, 25-10.

Wellsville's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Columbiana, their victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Wellsville has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against United on the 26th. As for Columbiana, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Springfield on the 23rd.
