Volleyball Recap: Gillespie Takes a Loss

Gillespie was the 2-1 winner over North Mac when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Miners fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Gillespie has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season. As for North Mac, the victory snapped their losing streak at 11 matches and leaves them with a 5-14 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Gillespie will square off against rival Staunton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North Mac is set to face off against their familiar foe Hillsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
