Basketball Recap: Hanover Comes Up Short

Hanover was the 59-46 winner over Merrimack Valley when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Hanover Bears had to suffer through a 59-17 loss at the hands of the Merrimack Valley Pride. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hanover's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Merrimack Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Coming up, Hanover and Lebanon will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Merrimack Valley, they will face off against Hollis-Brookline at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Merrimack Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
