Underclassman Paige Ells came into Thursday's matchup looking to prove herself and that's exactly what she did. She wasn't messing around on Thursday, striking out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). The pitching appearance was her 13th straight with seven or more strikeouts.
