Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rock Hill). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Princeton Panthers a 16-0 shutout on Monday. The Blue Hawks haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Madilynn Grossman was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in March of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Madelyn Kerrigan, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kayla Reed, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Rock Hill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .645. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Rock Hill's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Princeton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4-1.
