Baseball Recap: Palmer Terrors vs. Sand Creek Scorpions

Palmer lost against Sand Creek last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Palmer Terrors came up short against the Sand Creek Scorpions, falling 22-6. The Terrors just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Palmer saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabriel Diaz-Raitz, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs Diaz-Raitz has posted since back in March of 2024. Messiah Rogan also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Palmer's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Sand Creek, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palmer will be taking part in a tournament against Thornton at 1:00 p.m. on March 28th. As for Sand Creek, they will venture away from home to take on Pueblo South at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Pueblo South's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last four games.
