Rocky Mountain found a leader in Lincoln Mathis as the team took down Borah on Thursday. Mathis didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 13 over six innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in eight consecutive appearances.
