Baseball Recap: Bellarmine College Prep's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Junipero Serra typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Bellarmine College Prep proved too difficult a challenge. They skirted past the Padres 1-0. The game was the first time the Bells have beaten the Padres on their field since May 24, 2023.

Preston Pera tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 5.2 innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Bellarmine College Prep saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Chew, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

The victory was the third in a row for Bellarmine College Prep, bringing their record up to 16-13. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games.
