Softball Recap: Meridian Comes Up Short

Meridian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Vancleave Bulldogs, falling 12-4.

Meridian's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Vancleave, their record now sits at 6-9.

Coming up, Meridian will challenge Forrest County Agricultural at 6:30 p.m. on March 17th. As for Vancleave, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 1-0 defeat against Northwest Rankin on the 8th.
