Football Recap: Chiles Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Chiles kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Dothan Wolves, falling 42-17. While losing is never fun, the Timberwolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 139th in Florida, while the Wolves are ranked 21st in Alabama).

Despite the defeat, Chiles had strong showings from Jeremiah Cadet, who rushed for 71 yards and one TD on only eight carries, and Gerald Clark, who rushed for 80 yards and one touchdown.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chiles will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Pelham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dothan, they will square off against Monroe at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
