Football Recap: Chiles Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Chiles had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 42-17 to the Dothan Wolves on Friday. The Timberwolves gained 228 more yards on the day, but it was the Wolves that made the best use of them.

Jeremiah Cadet and Gerald Clark certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Cadet rushed for 71 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries, while Clark rushed for 80 yards and one TD.

Aj Alexander had a dynamite game For Dothan., rushing for 40 yards and a pair of scores. Sirlathian Meadows was another key player, rushing for 63 yards and one touchdown.

Chiles and Dothan should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in their respective state rankings. The Timberwolves (ranked 143rd) will meet Pelham (ranked 312th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Dothan will square off against Monroe at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (19 vs. 186).
