Football Game Preview: Fort Bend Christian Academy Eagles vs. Second Baptist Eagles

Fort Bend Christian Academy will challenge Second Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Fort Bend Christian Academy lost to Lutheran South Academy on the road by a 35-18 margin.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Brayden Tibbetts, who threw for 293 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 35 yards and one TD. Fort Bend Christian Academy's leading receiver Dylan Cooper was Tibbetts' top target yet again, picking up 93 receiving yards and one score.

Meanwhile, Second Baptist never let their opponents score on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out KIPP Houston 2-0. The two-point effort marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Fort Bend Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Second Baptist, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6.
